Our BMAT practice papers are one of the best source of practice available on the market (the other contender being BMAT Ninja). We’ve written our papers to match the actual BMAT specification as closely as possible, so you know you’re getting an accurate representation of what will happen on test day.

Once you’ve attempted our Section 1 and Section 2 papers under timed conditions, you can go through the worked solutions, all of which were written by current medical students at Oxford and Cambridge. This is useful for questions you got wrong, but also for questions you got right - doing well in the BMAT is all about timing, and there’s the chance that you may have missed a shortcut or two that would have certainly helped your overall score.

When it comes to Section 3, we suggest practising writing essays under timed conditions. You probably won’t want to do all 20 questions we have in our pack, but even if you only attempt a few, it’ll be useful to read through all 20 of our sample essays to get an idea of what the examiners are looking for.
